ABOUT THE ROLE & WHAT WE OFFER We are looking for a Resort General Manager to join the team! As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations at the resort.
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments, such as housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction and obtaining optimum efficiency and economy of operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Strong supervisory skills:
the ability to appropriately assign/delegate work and authority to others in accomplishing goals; provide coaching, advice, and assistance as required; help employees overcome obstacles and deal with problems.
Hire and train employees to support successful daily operations.
Lead, manage, and develop a team to drive high levels of customer service and online reputation at our luxury resort.
Manage costs within the hotel, including supplies, utilities, and labor expenses to be within budget parameters, combined with sales/revenue acumen to deliver an efficient and profitable operation.
Knowledge of safety management principles; federal and state OSHA regulations; safety, emergency, and accident policies and procedures.
Must be capable of performing all hourly functions and operating all equipment in the hotel.
Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, jump, walk, and use a computer for prolonged periods.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE Review financial reports and statements to understand the property's performance versus budget and expenses.
Knowledge of the resort's daily operations including budgeting, sales, housekeeping, finance and revenue, maintenance, and food and beverage.
Lead the property in the generation of revenue through sales and marketing efforts.
Coach and support the hotel team to effectively manage occupancy and rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
Ensure full compliance with the hotel's operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS At least 4 years' experience as a General Manager OR 5 years of resort operations experience in a director capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Experience with operating a Property Management System(s).
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Ability to work under pressure and in high volume settings.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
